Why you should visit Colombia
Due to its recent past, Colombia has been unspoiled by tourism. While you will see an occasional Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds and Blockbuster, the majority of Colombia is authentic Colombian!

Also, with the election (and re-election) of its President, Mr. Uribe, Colombia has become one of the safest tourist destinations in South America.  While tourism to Colombia has quadrupled recently, it is still significantly below traditional tourist destinations such as Costa Rico or Mexico. It is still common to go all day without seeing another American tourist!

What Colombia Offers
Colombia is located at the top of South America and is the gateway between Central America (Panama to the North) and the rest of South America to the East, West and South. Being at the "top" of South America, Colombia has a Pacific  and a Caribbean Coast line offering many beautiful beach communities and natural beauty.

There are Romance Tours in the Caribbean cities of Cartagena, Barranquilla and Santa Marta.

What many Americans are not aware of is that the Andes mountain ranges terminates in Colombia. The Colombian cities of Medellin, Bucaramanga, Manizales, Cali and Bogota are all situated in the Andes Mountains. In fact, Bogota is the third highest city in the world!

And last, but not least, to the South of Colombia is the Amazon basin.
