  • Bogota Colombian Romance Tour Details

Bogota is Colombia’s Capital and is Colombia’s largest city and it's economic hub. Due to its size and economic strength, Bogotá is a very cosmopolitan city offering a wide range of fine dining and cultural activities.
The “rolas” or “cachanas” as the women are called tend to have a more conservative, but high fashion style of dress. Black is the new Black! This could be due to the city’s capricious weather, which can go from foggy mornings to clear skies by mid-morning to heat at noon to afternoon rain and to cold at night (Bogota is located a mile and half high in the Colombian Andes!).
Since Bogota draws in professionals from all across Colombia, the rolas tend to be more educated and opened minded (urban/sophisticated) then women found in other areas of Colombia.  You will find that going to nice restaurants, taking a stroll in the nicer areas of the city, or going to the theater are some things that the rolas will definitely enjoy and appreciate.
Famous attractions in Bogota include many Cathedrals and churches, (Monserrate being the most famous); libraries, museums (Museum of Modern Art, the Gold Museum and the Coin Museum being the most famous), Theaters, and the old section of Bogota named La Candelaria.
Bogota is also home of the Iberoamerican Theater Festival, which is held every two years and brings performing companies from all over the world.
